One for James - restoring / improving (interesting machining) an old Chevy straight six for twin turbo, fuel injection for a 50's era Suburban.

I like the FI #1 TDC magnetic indicator.

I was guessing it was going to be a 292, which was a pretty beefy straight six. Didn't know much about the 2nd gen straight sixes....Whaddaya think, $30k in the engine alone, maybe more given all the one-off cnc machining and casting. Its an interesting look with the central valve cover buried between the huge intake/throttle bodies on one side, and the twin turbos on the other....no-one can say they just went with another small block LS...

A lot of custom went ONTO that core block of six! It is unique.

Starting some repairs and have to remove my Warn engine / transmission skid to replace a lower control arm. This is a shot of it from the side with a straight edge under it. Worth every penny I paid for it!

@0:54 Paint less than 1 percent of the world's surface and completely reverse global warming. The world's surface area is 196,900,000 square miles, so 1,969,000 square miles of white paint and we're good. Interesting...

All Hallow's Eve is upon us.

This video popped up for me:
Haunted Airports and crash-sites! - Halloween Special!! (from 2018)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90P6sWZPpCc

Does anyone recall details of the ?commercial / passenger? airplane that crashed around Crystal Mountain west of Fort Collins?

    edit: Found it:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United...nes_Flight_610

Near the end of the above web page is a link to a PDF from the Civil Aeronautics Board. It is an easy read though the final page or two shows a map of the plane's direction from Salt Lake to Cheyenne and the turn towards Denver:

Anyone have some resources or tips on starting your own service type business? I'm feeling the need to get out of corporate style IT stuff and consult the individual or small business.

    Good for you!!

From the SOS office https://www.coloradosos.gov/pubs/inf...ish/index.html The only thing I'd suggest is that when you register your business name try to get the URL that matches, it's not crucial but it makes you easy to find and looks good on advertising. These days you don't need to advertise much, just show up well on google and have a good website.

I've been using this company for 22 years, they are great. https://yorkstreetllc.com/

Small thing, but I've found refrigerator magnets are better than business cards, people tend to keep them.

    Good luck!!
