    Default New tires

First pictures of the new shoes. I forgot to take some while the Pig of Doom was out of the garage and in daylight.

    I think they look small.

Nice. I think that's the size (on 16's, though) I have on mine. I think they end up being a little over 33, but you don't want to go much bigger on the FJC without other, more expensive work.

    Thanks!
Rob- You are probably right on the size (285/70r17) they just look smaller than my MTs and I suspect it is because the blocks are not as tall. You are absolutely right: I do not want to relocate transmissions, chop bodies or any of that kind of nonsense.

Now I just need to sell the other sets to offset the new ones. I swear, no more new sets of tires for at least two years!

You will like those. I have run quite a few sets of these over the years on various rigs and have had no issues..Probably one of the best all round tires around.

Those are good tires. The all-around performance is essentially unbeatable. They are also wonderful in snow and rain.

Be careful with the sidewalls. My experience is that they pop very easily.
