    Default Jerome, Arizona

I mentioned Jerome in the past and since highways out of Phoenix/Flagstaff are closed by snow and mudslides we've decided on a new route home. Cool little town I haven't seen in 20 years, hope it hasn't changed much.

Holy Crap I heard that Oak Creek was flooding up north. I pulled up the map and it doesn't look like you are out of the problem zone. Be careful and more pictures!

Sorry, no pics. Too busy driving and you've all seen snow.

Our last 2 days were when it rained a ton in Phoenix and snowed elsewhere so I won't complain about the weather. It was kind of fun to see everyone freaking out about this since it was apparently more than they've ever seen before. "Unprecedented" was the word they liked to use. We chose to take an alternate route and skipped Jerome though we were close, no sense visiting in the rain & snow.

The good news is we're back in Colorado. Pulled in to Cortez a bit ago and we're looking forward to seeing green again, the brown of Arizona doesn't cut it with us.
