Friday November 29th - Switzerland snow wheeling

Is there snow up there? Almost certainly. Will it be fun? Most definitely.

Let's go shred the south side of Switzerland Trail (120J) and play around in some of the spurs around there. Maybe get all the way to Gordon Gulch if the conditions are right.
Meet at 11am, bring warm clothes and your recovery gear. All are welcome.

I plan to wheel this day. I have a client (with jeep) who is looking to get out. On the fence re Moody Hill near FoCo or snow wheeling on Switz... I'll chat with him and see what his leaning is.

Should be lots of snow, my truck is not a great setup for snow wheeling so I'll probably be using my winch for myself for the first time.

Spoke with my guest. This will be his first trail run and he's conscious as to holding others back. There will be more snow runs! Y'all have a great time.

If it makes them feel better I'll likely be the least capable rig slowing everyone down but I understand the decision.

Yeah, this is the area I'd like to play around in. Lots of flat open areas, there's a little hill climb to a weather station on the east side. I'm not bothered by having some newcomers and smaller rigs, it'll be fun playing with some kinetic ropes.
If we exhaust this area, we can go all the way to Gordon Gulch and see what it's like over there too.
