Mt. Herman Rd and Balance Rock trail 4/13/24
Hey all, I went out solo on Saturday. Ran up Mt. Herman from Palmer Lake and then over to Balance Rock. Just some areas of snow ruts on Mt. Herman, but for the most part completely clear. Balance Rock had a lot more snow on it. Since I was by myself I only went down to the first switch back on the final "descent". I wasn't sure about the snow depth at the bottom, and no one was on the trail at the time. Also there were no fresh tracks through the snow which I found kinda weird. I thought someone with 37's or 40's would have busted through it.
