    Default Renooffroad.com

I just bought 3 BFGs with no tax and free shipping for $717.25 total https://www.renooffroad.com/bfg-all-...2-33x10-50r15/ I got three because I have a brand new spare that will get mixed in.

I looked into the company and they are in good standing with Nevada, have few but good reviews, and I used Paypal to buy it so I have protection. I'll post when they arrive or dont...

Woke up to an email from the owner this morning apologizing for not processing my order right away, which I placed on labor day weekend and wasn't expecting it to be. It's only 7am on the first biz day and it's already processed and being shipped, might make it here this week. So far I am loving the prices and the customer service, I'll keep updating as the order goes through.

Slight delay on these, not unusual for purchases. I like dealing with a smaller company, the owner has contacted me repeatedly and offered options.

Hoping all goes well, would like to put those on my DD and they are $75/tire less in my size than anywhere around here.

Just got the Fedex tracking info, they should be here early next week. The best part, aside from the price, has been the communication from the seller. At every step I've gotten an email and an account was setup automatically for me to see the status of my order. So far I'm pretty impressed with renooffroad.com.

These just showed up, two look OK and one has a completely bulged out sidewall. The Fedex driver dropped it on my lawn bulge-down, took a pic and drove away while I was yelling at him to stop and take the delivery back. Dick. I can't believe they shipped out a tire like this in the first place, it's obviously a manufacturing defect and not one that is hard to see. Everyone along the line should have seen there was something wrong with it, IDK what happened. I called Renooffroad, emailed them and called Fedex to come back and get it. Things happen, we'll see how it's handled.

Texted the owner, sent some pics and he is expediting a replacement. That was easy!

I would also check the date code - it might be older than you want. The last set of 'that is a damn good sale for that tire' online purchase I made (Hankooks for the 58 willys), when I got them, the date code showed they were 5 years since manufacture - not horribly old, especially if you plan to put lots of miles in a short time, but guessing that is the reason I got them on sale.

Brand spanking new, shipped directly from Michelin to my door. Jason at ROR said he's never seen that before either.

So I learned something new today, and I'm still getting my head around it. Apparently that tire is fine. I'm repainting my wheels and won't be able to mount them for a day or so, I can't wait to try.

Here is text from an email I just got:

"I was on the phone today with the production manager at BFG Racing and he told me that the tires photos I sent him are actually what happens sometimes depending how they get stacked after production but the tires are still good and when it is mounted it will reform.

I guess this is common especially for the racing tires. I normally get mine about 3 weeks after production. Production happens and then they cure for a week 1/2 and yours are fresh so according to him it should be good. Sounds weird to me but he has been with BFG for a very long time and races off-road for them. Is on his way to Baja right now and said that he has had them like that before. "

I also have to say that the customer service and prices from www.renooffroad.com have been stellar. I haven't had to do anything except complain. Jason was great, he got the tires to me a day earlier than expected and has been in constant contact about the weird tire since it got here. I will use them again and would recommend them.

Last post for this thread, the tires are mounted / balanced / on the Jeep and feel great. The weird one behaved just like the others when I mounted it, and it balanced with the least amount of weight, exactly 1 oz. Pics below. This worked out great, very happy with them. They'll get a real test at Wheeler Lake this Friday.

I think I will try them as well. Been looking at 33's and after seeing them in action on the Epic Colorado run I'm convinced.

If you want it I have been giving away the ones I'm taking off and have one left. 33x10.50r15, worn but not worn out (I don't let my tires get bad), no patches or issues, perfect for a spare.
