Yankee Hill Monday Trail Run Report

Great day all around. Map shows in red squiggles where a week or so ago. I ran yankee and this area was washed out with large boulders. People were having lots of issues so we detoured via the blue. Went down to Alice and continued down fall river to York gulch which took us back to CC.

It was the perfect day to be out there. No wind, no rain, perfect temps and blue sky. Also no other traffic to speak of! I had a little trouble trying to get up the hill on the right side. Tom did it with a bit of slippage in the scree, but I just couldn't get enough momentum. I made it almost half way up and decided to back down and try the left side. (That worked)! I made it to the top. Here are a few pics. I think my husband got a few as well. I'll get them and post up later.
