    Default Mount Sherman Attempt

I only made it to 13,600’. My son summited. Cold wind most of the way. LOTS of people.
The first shot with my feet in it is where I called it quits.

Sucks getting old. The first mile I was extremely dizzy, out of breath, and heart pounding. Stopped and ate a few times and the dizziness stopped so I pressed on. Glad I called it when I did.

Aw shucks, sorry you didn't summit.

It looks like you made it quite far up though - to the top of the scree / talus to the saddle where you could see over to the other side?

I'm sure you enjoyed time with your son!

Yes on both counts. Could look right down to leadville. Made it to the summit ridge.
