    Default Nasty Sounding Weekend

    Be safe out there.

The National Weather Service specifically says a couple inches above 12,500 feet of elevation through the weekend. Some peak-specific forecasts from Mountain-Forecast.comput this total a little higher, including a six-inch weekend snow forecast on Mount Bierstadt, about five inches on Pikes Peak (through Monday), and about four inches on Longs. Snow is expected to hit central and northern mountains harder than those in the south and southwest.--

So, Matt should bring chains for Red Elephant?

Heck - snow might make me think of joining in...

My first reading of this was - wow - they're being VERY SPECIFIC stating 12,502 inches - and then my mind came around to the message being presented.

I bet only the highest peaks see any of this snow..... everywhere else will see thunderstorms, rain and clouds.

Lets go Jim, bring your chains

Wonder how the snow will impact the Pikes Peak Hill Climb.

I was supposed to get thunderstorms and rain last night…. Not a drop fell. These meteorologists are just guessing 🤷🏽*♂️
