Default Furnace/AC unit purchase contact...or HVAC contractor.

I got screwed last year on a total removal and replacement of HVAC in my home (furnace, A/C, all new ductwork, cut in new registers, etc). I had to have the guy charged and arrested to get my money back (do not use Havens HVAC LLC). With that...I have lost faith in paying anyone to do work on my property (this goes for vehicles, bikes, and my home).

With the delay in that debacle...HVAC equipment has skyrocketed in price. I'm now in the crappy situation to have to pay the new prices. To be straight up...I'm looking to see if anyone has connections to sell me direct-to-consumer at a reduced price for the major HVA equipment.

oor....I am not against hiring someone from this webpage. Not a friend or family member of yours....only you...and only if you are a licensed HVAC contractor in Denver, CO.

    Thank you!

    -Nick

I[m sorry to hear that Nick. I've had nothing but bad experiences with contractors, I avoid them when I can. Sechler Electric added a hot tub outlet to my yard and tried to charge me for 100' of material when it was actually 17', and doubled all the parts on the invoice. I sent him a check for what I thought was fair and told him to sue me for the rest, never heard from them again. Zane the Plumber destroyed my backyard doing a sewer line, actually knocked down a pine tree, breaking the main root and killing it. The dug out the hole it came from, put the tree back and used my rock garden to fill the hole around it. I found parts of my garden fish in the hole when I dug out the tree. I ended up paying that one in full, the work was good and there was a clause int he contract about damages... but I mean they could have just left the tree on the ground and not killed my fish. A tool named Mike Schmidt turned a 4 day roof into a 96 day ordeal with a failed inspection, issues with his employees and a nasty confrontation when he tried to get paid and wanted to jack the bill based on how long it took. I gave him the original estimate and told him to sue me for the rest, never heard from him again. The worst one was Day & Night Mechanical Solutions. My furnace went out during 20 degree weather at the end of December and we called everyone, finally got a company with good reviews from Tom Martino. The guy showed up about 3 hours late, drunk AF with a woman that was so lit she couldnt get back up after sitting down in my living room. While they were there I googled them and found this, kicked them out on the spot: https://www.westword.com/news/exposed-5089497 I ended up at Home Depot for space heaters and hired an HVAC company that was set up in the store to install a Trane, the price was shocking. I've been residing and painting my house myself slowly over the last two years just to avoid hiring someone.
