"For the record, this award was granted based on them getting him through some insanely difficult *optional* lines! Didn't mean to imply he was belly sliding the whole trail. I didn't know those were 31" tires I thought they were 33s!"

Oh, I for sure knew what you meant when you said it; sorry if it came off like you were criticizing. It was a badge of honor in my mind. I spent a lot of time on my underside protection anticipating my constant beached-whaling with the small tires. It's all part of it.

And my 31s are stamped as 31s. When aired down, I'm sure they're around stock tire diameter.

93 Toyota pickup; 31s, generally stock, and quite beat.

"Also I'd like to say, this was Gerald's last Colorado trail run at least as a resident. Fitting send off I think, thanks for the great wheelin and bringing a lot of experience to the trail runs."

Sorry for the late reply, getting the house ready to sell has been a chore. Thanks for organizing the trail run Scott! It is one of my favorites and it was nice to run it one more time before I leave.

It's been a blast running with the FR folks for the past few years. I really enjoyed getting a taste of Colorado trails, meeting some really great people, and seeing their rigs from mild to wild (Shane) in action.

My plan is to have the Rubicon and Fordyce trails in my backyard. Once I get settled, there will be an open invitation to all of you to run some High Sierra trails with me if you're out that way. My opinion, the Rubicon is no more technical than Chinaman Gulch or Spring Creek, just a lot more of it. Back to back obstacles with almost no breaks in the action.

I will still monitor FR as I want to make a trek to Moab once a year and have King of the Hammers and Sand Hollow on my bucket list.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your adventure.

Happy trails to you, until we meet again...
