    Default Climbed/Hiked Twin Sisters yesterday

In training for my summer 14er: Mt Sherman. This hike was more distance and elevation gain than Sherman. 2000 lower in height than Sherman.

    That's a nice accomplishment!

I don't think you'll find conveniently placed steps on Sherman.

No, but it follows and old jeep/mining road for awhile, so its not too bad at first. The biggest issue I've had with Sherman is wind....its a windy place!

Interesting observation. I climbed it years ago and it was dead still on the summit. Only 14er I’ve summitted where that was the case.

Twin Sisters is tough, great choice for a training hill. Good luck on Sherman!

It turned out to be tough for sure. Trail is suppose to be 7.5 miles and 2700’ of elevation. There was a lot of snow drifts on the trail. My fitbit say it was 7.73 miles and 5000’ of elevation. My fitbit is usually quite accurate on shorter distances and elevation gain so I think we did good.
