For Sale: Jeep steering column

Complete steering column through intermediate shaft (rag joint) with mating u-joint and floorpan mount from I think an FSJ....This was swapped into my 58wagon when I got it and works fine (and yes I do have the original key). Probably a long shot around here, but maybe someone has an old FSJ (or some other old iron) that could use this on a build.

Going in a cj7 according to buyer ...not sure it's identical, but certainly very close.

It looks close to what I purchased for my 90 with the exception of tilt and windshield wiper controls on the turn signal.

Its an AMC era steering column with turn signal/hazard etc....I am pretty sure it came out of a late 70s/early 80s FSJ/wagoneer, which means its maybe an inch or so longer than a standard later cj column. The intermediate shaft had a rag joint and and was not collapsible (although it might have just been frozen up), so 70s seems about right, and thus the steering wheel seems more FSJ than cj....but in any case, its decent shape for OEM AMC jeep parts, and the unique jeep specific 30something spline to 30something spline u-joint is worth the $50 alone. I don't know if the seller just wanted some specific parts to rebuild some of his, or wanted the whole thing, but even just for some of the unique spline parts etc, its worth it. Hope buyer gets good use of it, and Jen is happy its not cluttering the garage....trying to get rid of some other stuff later today as well!

I bought the column and plan on putting in my jeep this summer. Column length is the same as the cj so it will bolt right in.
