The RSVP list is getting big. We're probably going to break up into two separate groups to go out and will need someone to lead each group.
Any thought to what trail for an exit?
Yep - agree. I'll look at trails.

Nothing more specific - that's fine. I can pull up a gps track from the last visit - it'll likely be the same as you described.
I just spent 4.5 hours on a support call with client and Rise Broadband - my mind is taking a time-out (no map looking now - but map browsing will be a nice time-out).
A couple GPX files from two Pickle runs.
One exits out the north and the other out the south (or could easily be changed to the Central City exit)

I’d be curious if the trails will be passable….. seems to be pretty snowy in the shaded areas still near my house. Wish I could join you guys and find out

Boulder Ranger District is showing a lot of closed trails - Kingston Peak being on my mind...

Do folks have any preference for the exit trails from Pickle Gulch? Head south the long way, south the short way, or head north?
I'm game for anything but am wondering what we'll encounter regarding snow. Matt is of the thought that snow might be around - how much is the question (and if we'd be turned back at any spot).
In general I prefer not to return home via St Mary's / I 70. I'd like to exit via Pickle Gulch or Central City. It seems late in the year for snow to stop us, but it wouldn't be the first time we failed on a spring run up Pickle Gulch. I think it was this trail 2 (or 3?) years ago in the spring when Jim tried to snow bash but we had ~4 ft snow drifts just uphill from the old log cabin that stopped us.
Edit: it was May 5, 2019

Stolen from that thread you can see we didn't get far. Jim provided this image and circled the section where we were stopped by snow:
That was an amazing amount of snow. We could do a central city exit - snow depending.
Sat map shows a bypass - likely not on any MVUM though
My thought is that the snow won't be that deep...

Group size just went down by one!!
I have serious egg on my face for not flipping my calendar to Sunday. An appointment. It's more important than Jim enjoying mountain vistas.
Twice in one weekend that appointments (the Sunday appointment was scheduled weeks ago) filled the schedule.
I'll be looking for the snow report!
