We spent 18 years in OK (for work) after leaving 'the Springs before moving back to CO.
SE OK has Poteau and Clayton with "mountain" trails in the area, but nothing like CO. Near Tulsa is Disney which is waterfalls, water and rock. The rest of OK is pretty flat and full of red clay - I never hit the rivers, but I sold my 96 XJ (4" lift, 44s front and back with ARBs, 4.56 gears, and... I miss that Jeep) to an Air Force guy @ Tinker and he swamped it the next weekend and hydro-locked the engine...
