Cool video.
I've never been successful at making coffee with percolators. It always tastes off to me. I'm a little jealous though because I really like the simple design. I end up making pour-over coffee and it always turns into a balancing act.
I use my aeropress, take instant coffee, or just take tea. Percolators always seem to use too much water for cleanup for me
I get my caffeine via sugar free redbull on the trail, not that I would recommend anyone start that habit. When I do need hot water or food though I have been very happy with the performance of my JetBoil gear.
I drink coffee all day long, I have a problem. Percolators need a regular paper filter and high heat to start, then low heat. This guy does the filter but IMO his heat is too high at the end, it should be bubbling slower and longer. Clean up with a filter is much easier too. The best part of this video is how unimpressed his wife is with him.

Also looking at a propane fire pit. I would not be surprised if we have fire bans all year in 2022.

That settles it, I’m planning on parking next to your rig when we go.
We use our propane stove to boil water in a tea kettle and then pour the hot water into a coffee-maker and let it drip through the grounds. It works.
Also picked up one of these, it is awesome on long drives or for breakfast burritos. I had a burrito basket under the hood in my last Jeep, this is much more predictable.

The seller must be marketing these directly to the 'hot dogger' 'burrito basket' crowd (certainly us!!) as the first item on the description...

Wow, that is a LOT of propane! I like your hitch carrier too, you're a step ahead of me there as well. I just finished modifying this one by cutting the tongue and adding the angled piece in the middle for a little lift.
Cool, that should work pretty good. On my long trips bringing the 40# and the 20# tanks will let my stay out in the forest 7-8 days and that's having a little fire in the morning to take the chill off. If I was conservative I could go significantly longer but I do like comfort. I have to say that the hitch rack does drag bottom sometimes so I have to be focused on some trails.
The photochop job on that Tesla Burrito Basket is amazing.
Nothing like a bottle of wine with a bacon cheese burger, yummy.
