Default Hello! Back at it after almost 20 years - Denver, CO

    Nick here,

Used to wheel along with the NAXJA.org crew back in the early 2000s on the East coast (NJ/PA). Here is a photo album of my old Jeep...wheeling and tech. I did a lot of custom work on that one, but ended up selling it before I finished the big remodel.

After moving away in 2006, I didn't have any toy vehicles for a long time. I just jumped back into another Jeep XJ 2 years ago; that one is a 96, auto, locked F/R, 31s. Working on new axle gearing at this moment. I've also got a beater 1993 Toyota pickup 3VZE...not planning on making that a wheeler though.

Looking forward to getting out on some trail runs with everyone!

Ha! I've had a lot of time to think about it from trying to join and screwing the process up nearly a year ago. Thanks for getting me going!

From a quality control aspect - if you wish to kick a PM or post in the thread, I welcome the thoughts on how things could flow more smoothly.

Welcome! I just joined last week, after a long hiatus without 4x4 in my life. I did have a sports car and some motorcycles so I wasn't devoid of automotive fun, but I really love the backcountry and I'm excited to go Wheeling with a group.

If you want to plan a run - start a thread in "planning" and get a ball rolling!!

Common stuff is a day run though overnight / multi-day trips happen as well.

    What's on your mind?

Thanks for pushing to make something happen!

My mind is focused on getting my Jeep back together....Just re-geared the rear axle, and pulled the front to start that yesterday.

I'd absolutely like to get a multi day Moab trip planned for late winter/early spring, and will begin organizing one soon. I have wanted to wheel Moab since I was a young one...so it's time to make it happen.
