    Default Chinaman Gulch 11/23/2021

Great day today with Shane and his G Wagon beast. To take a quote from Trent “It’s absurd”. We hit the trail a little after 9A ended up back at the staging area around Noon. The only stop of any length of time was to take a look at the top of Carnage Canyon. Shane and I agree that Carnage Canyon is definitely taking it to the next level and we both are not at that level of “Fun” yet. I took point for most of the trail and I kept doing double takes in my rear view mirror as I could not get used to not seeing a front axle where a front axle should be. Take a look at the pictures and the beast makes my LJ look like a baby Jeep . Shane was going to try to run Spring Creek on the way home. I would have loved to join him, but it’s a little too far a detour for me and it gets dark so early now.

It was a great day, that trail is one of my new favorites. It has more of a variance in difficulty than most trails I have seen so a much smaller rig can clear it just fine, yet Gerald and I were able to find all the challenge we could handle and then some. I'll try to post a few pics tomorrow, I haven't checked them out yet but have a feeling a got a few fun ones.
