Maybe a little help this afternoon?
I am hoping to try starting up and breaking in the engine/cam this afternoon....obviously that is dependent on a couple other things this morning....but I am flying solo and wouldn't mind an extra set of eyes to watch things like fuel and coolant leaks, and monitor my handheld meter (timing and rpm) while I work the throttle etc. Plus, as it running only the shorty headers, its probably going to be a bit loud and obnoxious for running in the garage nose forward, so I think I want to roll it out to the driveway. But if it doesn't start, or if something with my clutch or transmission rebuild is off, it might need to be pushed back in. And my driveway is enough of an upslope that it take a few people to push a jeep up it (you know, just some previous experience talking here). I don't remember being worried such issues when I dropped the v6 back in the cj, but then there were less variables....I knew the transmission was good and everything went back to its previous, working positions...in this case, there is a lot of changes and new stuff going on. Anyway...I certainly have lots of beer to offer, and if pizza helps, can do that to. Its getting dark early so thinking/hoping to do this by 4pm.
