Jim, Trent, and I did this on Monday. Wouldn't be able to do it today due to the Kruger Rock fire. No pics, but I know Jim got some. The most interesting part of this run was sliding backwards down Rock Creek in the slippery snow.

Let me google that for you?

Curious - Estes Park.
I'll try to get some pix posted tonight (not many - but more than I would think).
As for Elk - Yes, Estes is the place. On one cut-through road I found "the boys club" and then a couple miles away, by the river, near the mini-putt, was the rest of the family (with obligatory cars slowing / stopping).
Coming down the canyon (34), near the old Idlewild dam, there was a heard of big horn sheep (with more cars slowing / stopping).
