Yankee Hill isn't hard, but if it's snowy up there you'll find it incredibly challenging and possibly dangerous. I'm not sure what conditions up that way are right now. There are a couple of fun optional difficult obstacles on Yankee Hill, but none you are obligated to attempt. The trail network around there is vast and you can spend days exploring different spurs.
