Default Jenny Creek Sept 12, 2021

Shane wanted to get out for a shakedown run of the G wagon on the new portals, so I met him in Rollinsville for a little Sunday afternoon wheeling. We thought we might explore Yankee Hill, but when I mentioned Jenny Creek Shane jumped at this -- he's never run Jenny Creek before.

Lots of folks out hunting and fishing near the start of the trail today. I think hunting season must have just opened. The aspens are starting to turn golden in large swaths. I was up in this area last weekend to visit Kingston Peak and see considerable progression of the fall colors in just 7 days.

It looks pretty silly with the 35s on it but I had to get it out for a shakedown run. Should have my 38s ready this weekend if the new beadlocks arrive on Friday as scheduled. Was super fun to take absurd lines, or as I like to call them, Gerald lines. Besides the height and width, it drives just like it did before from a handling and suspension point of view. The gearing definitely feels better now with the portal reduction too.

I got a video that I thought looked pretty great of a section Trent was working his way through, as usual video flattens everything out. https://i.imgur.com/655DtUU.mp4

Air-ride equipped now! Haven't noticed the helper air bags causing any negative issues on the trail yet.

Negative. I need an excuse to take the trailer out with the Jeep. Haven't been out with the trailer in a couple weeks.
