I agree whole heartily, I didn't get the chance to run up to Baldwin Lakes yet. (Hiked to the narrow open part of the trail though. That valley at the river crossing is stunning.

It's probably a bit too late for me to do anything this weekend as I'm down in Denver with just my Exploder, unless we were to do something very easy tomorrow between here and Leadville.

If we want to start planning something for next weekend, though, I'll have labor day off which would make a longer trip easier, like the Dinosaur suggestion.

While a Dinosaur trip does not need to have me involved, my schedule is awaiting funeral announcement for an extended family member. I'll have a trip to Illinois where I'll spend a week seeing family and friends. Quite likely next weekend is out for me. Though - if not - I could well see Dinosaur on the radar.

Unfortunately I don’t know if I’ll even get out this weekend. Spending time with the wife since she was gone last weekend, and installing some aftermarket inner front fender liners on my Jeep since the factory garbage is terrible. Although reviews I read said it was an easy and straight forward install, I found it to be a serious pain in the ass and will be wrestling with that today.

Thanks Shane, I finished up this morning after about 2.5 hours of wrestling! Looks great now! Spent about 3 hours last night too. It was frustrating but worth it

No runs for me the next couple weekends. Illinois funeral where I'll make it a week to visit family and friends.

Well, I didn’t wheel at all not but I got a lot of stuff done around the house and with the wife. I did get my new inner fender liners installed to replace the cheap plastic crap it came from the factory with. My drivers side liner didn’t even cover up the rear of the engine and windshield washer reservoir, it was the only uglyness on the Jeep. Although the liners took me 5 hours of swearing and frustration to install, they look great and cover everything up neat and clean!

That's a pretty nice improvement visually.

Halfmoon Creek should be open now finally, the last closure was stated to expire yesterday. I'm trying to confirm now - I'm hoping to run it while it's passable.

    Edit: Annnd it's closed.
