Default Pole Hill - Friday evening

Pole Hill - Friday aft/eve anyone?

I have two guests (mother / adult son) who are interested in a trail ride. They're in Loveland so I figured Pole Hill gives a nice all-around experience. With counter-clockwise loops this would put us at an overlook near the end of the trail - perhaps to watch a sunset (finishing the trail after dark).

As I'm only a two-seat jeep - might someone else be interested that would have one empty seat?

We'd be able to leave Loveland around 4:15 / 4:30p for a 5:30 trailhead arrival. Hit the trail at 6p.

Might anyone (with an open seat) be interested?

I am interested and would love to join. Won’t know if I can until early Thurs PM. He wife has been out of town and is returning on a flight just after lunch Thurs. I don’t expect any problem but I shouldn’t commit until I see her.

I have a seat available and am much closer to Loveland than Shane.

Tom / Shane - It's apparent to me that you folks are thinking you'd need to visit Loveland to pick up the second seat. That is quite gracious of you. Thank you. In my mind, Mom will drive her car, following me with her son in my Jeep to the trailhead. Nobody will be needed to go out of their way for the second seat. I thank you all for assuming and jumping in to help.

IF we get out of Loveland in time, we do plan to visit (heck - I and my sweet tooth plan to visit) the General Store at Glen Haven for either some cherry cobbler or a fantastic cinnamon roll. They close at 5p so I don't know if we'll get time. If we go - would anyone wish a cinnamon roll or cherry cobbler - I'll take orders (it's on me).

    From a prior visit...

I'm looking to chat with mom Wednesday to pin down some times. Once I have that, I'll post a run.

I'm going to cancel on Friday. My portal axles are finally supposed to show up Friday and on the off chance they really do show up I want to be around.

ooh - portal action - sweet. Yes, there are priorities in life

I just spoke with "mom"... Our plan is for me to meet them at Loveland before 4p - to leave Loveland at 4p for a trip to the General Store in Glen Haven for snacks. We should be to the trailhead 5:30-ish. Mom'll park her car there and jump in with ?Tom? and well enjoy the trail - counter clockwise loops ending at the nice, rocky lookout maybe about sunset. Unknown how long we'll stay there - 10 minutes perhaps? and head out.
