    Default ISO NP207

Long story short, my dad grenaded the NP207 in his 1986 Cherokee. Looking for anybody who has the hookup for a replacement, or even internal parts. I don’t know what exactly it needs, most things I imagine — I’ll update once I find out more from him. I just know the actual case is fine, but he’s of course willing to pay for an entire replacement to get his baby back on the road.

Also I have no idea if something like a NP231 would fit. I believe he has an AX-5 in there so I don’t know why it wouldn’t?

A 21 spline NP231 will swap right in. They are found behind 4 cylinder TJs, YJs, and XJs. Also, you'll find them behind 4.0 XJs from about 87 to 89 or 90.

1990 and older will have the 21 spline input.

Also, the self serve yards can provide you with an interchange listing, if they have any older Jeeps.
