Default Anyone know shops that mount and/or balance tires on beadlocks?

I've talked to a couple of shops so far and not found any that will mount or balance tires on beadlock wheels. Even 4wp says they will sell a set of tires and beadlock wheels but won't mount and balance them. Anyone know of a shop that will tackle them? I'd really prefer to have them properly balanced and not have to resort to things like balance beads.

I believe he quoted me $100 a beadlock wheel but I'm not sure if there is a built in discount if I was buying wheels and tires from him

I found these guys once when I was looking at Black Rhino wheels, I know for a fact they sell the beadlocks where as a lot of the other dealers don't. They mostly work on Toyotas, they might be closer for you and could give them a call

Also did you check with High Country Performance? They have a really good reputation, they're one of the shops I got quotes from for my SAS project

May I ask why you are against beads? Other than a little noisy, I haven't found any downsides. Not weights to rip or fall off. Easy to maintain as you can mount and balance in your home shop without any special tools. I have used them for years without issues. By years, I mean since about 2000.

I am also a big fan of internal beads. I used Dyna Beads on my TJ for years and they worked well.

I've never run beads myself, just heard as many people disliking them as liking them, where I have never heard of anyone saying they disliked static weights. Traditional weights just seem like the first choice of everyone, with beads being the next best thing if you can't get your wheels balanced the normal way. I mean it's not like I have ever heard of anyone running beads in their Toyota Camry, it just seems a fallback when you can't get tires balanced normally.

Thanks for all of the resources here. I just completely didn't think to contact 4x4 shops and just tried 3 tire shops who all said no.

Shane, let me know where you come up with because I'm going to need to get to new tires mounted to my beadlock wheels at some point in the future.

Will do. Hopefully I’ll have my new rims in a week or two.
