    Default Nub in Aurora

Hey all, New to the jeep world. I just purchased my first Jeep earlier today. I didn't figure out how to drive two vehicles at once so I left it at the dealer to pick it up in the morning. It's your typical 2015 JKU Sport. Has 33's on it and that's about it. From the carfax it shows it was in the Parker area so maybe the PO will see it since it's so close. =)

I used to wheel full size broncos a lot and of course there was always the full size vs jeep rivalry in So Cal. Needless to say I've done my fair share of smack talking on jeeps. So now I get to eat my crow since I am now joining this world. =) I haven't had a wheeler in some time so now I'm looking into going out and about. Anyhow I'll be lurking around trying to learn more about the jeeps. Currently I drive a 2002 F250 with a 6" lift on 37's. I really do like my truck but for the 2nd time in 3 years the HPOP went out. I wanted something 4wd and fun so t
hat's why I bought the jeep. I'm hopeful this community is as fun as the bronco group I was part of many moons ago. Anyhow that's enough rambling right now.

Welcome to the club. A nice thing about fr4x4 is we don't really care what you drive so if you get the itch to buy another Bronco some day you don't have to find a new club to wheel with.

Thanks for the invite but This is one of the few calm weekends I have. I'm been going non stop for a few weeks and have a lot going on in the next few weekends. Indy 500, Hockey charity tournament, camping, memorial service, family coming in.. This is the busiest calendar I've had for quite some time. I do appreciate the invite and once I get some seat time in this thing I'll be looking to join you guys on a weak sauce noob trail. I want to got offroad but I don't want my first or 2nd time out to end in body damage. Give it some time before I get pin stripes. =) Also I need to get a lift on the jeep. Right now it has 33's on it and with those and no lift there would be a lot of rubbing. I'm trying to figure out the best 3" lift that would keep it comfy on the street but allow me to wheel and articulate.

Also me getting my wife to wake up earlier enough to make that happen would be cruel.

Thanks for messaging me on the other site to let me know about this site! Glad to find something more local!

That's what our old fullsizebronco.com group was like.. People changes rigs and we didn't care. It was only a select few the jeepers and FSB guys were a little "we're better than you" I would love another FSB but it would have to be a 78/79 and people right now are psychotic on how much they want for them. Not only are they stupid expensive they are piles.. I'm sure I'll be happy with the Jeep. It's a lego car where there's so many aftermarket things available. Makes it easy to mod it.

    That's awesome!

I've only had the jeep since Saturday and already have stuff ordered for it. I've been watching some wheeling videos and it's really making me want to go out something fierce. Though I would like to start off with easy wheeling and fire trails. That way I don't freak the wife out to much. It'll be awhile before I can go extreme on it.. I promised her awhile ago that her 1962 Mercury Comet will get restored/built before I go crazy on an off road toy.
