Memorial Day Weekend anything?

Anyone else considering some Memorial Day weekend wheelin'?

I'm looking at Ice Cave Road.

Never been and it's pretty close.

Could be talked into something else though.

this looks like an easy trail, I am down and will take my whole family (wife and kids)


only thing that would keep us from going is if something comes up with this kitchen flood/basement ceiling thing we're dealing with

Bad memories of that one super long road on the way to a trail... Was it Jenny Creek? It had craters all throughout the road, all unavoidable. It was like the air force carpet bombed the road. It's been a long time, but I still remember hating that.

No question Rampart Range has some of the worst wash board!

We could probably run around Balanced Rock road too.

I'll put something on the calendar Monday.

Rampart washboard. Rattled the alternator brushes right off. Next thing I know my alternator gauge was down to nothing and my engine light was on. I really don't know how I drove so far home from mnt Herman road on the battery???? But we made it home. That was a crazy afternoon. Wife all stressed about making it home.
