I知 back in the front range
I spent most of the winter in California this year because my wife and I bought a house in Palm Springs to have a place near our youngest son who lives in Orange. We kept our mountain house near Estes Park also because our oldest son lives in Boulder and our business is based in Boulder (office and everything). We have been fortunate to have created a successful company that has blessed us and allowed us to do this.
Anyways, I never knew it before but Palm Springs is a great central location for desert wheeling! I spent two days solo in Death Valley National park in February with my new camper trailer. I wheeled a few amazing trails in Anza Borrego, which is just an hour an a half from Palm Springs and an epic off-road destination (although most of the routes are pretty easy). Joshua tree National park is only an hour and I wheeled there many times over the last few months. Big Bear, CA has tons of harder trails and I did a few awesome trails there with some new jeep friends I made there!
Our plan is to spend the cold months in California and the hot months in Colorado...... here痴 a few pics on some of these trails I mentioned
