Default Son Considering a 2009 Tacoma - Advice Please

My son is considering buying a stock 2009 crew short bed 4WD Tacoma for general use and occasional towing of a small camper (actually second generation, '05-'15 would be acceptable). Are there any particular issues or things to watch out for?

Frame rust is the big concern for the 2nd gen tacomas.

Thanks guys. What about years after the end of the frame recall, 2011 and up? Would a 2015 frame be considered normal?
