Suggestions Please, Highway + Easy Trail Tire

Looking for suggestions on a moderately priced, mostly highway tire but still decent for an occasional easy trail in my WK2 Grand Cherokee.

The Cooper Discoverer A/T-3 I have now are more trail capability than I need and they’ve become annoyingly noisy. On some tread blocks the sipes are worn off even though there is decent tread depth left.

I like the hankook AT tire....ran a few sets on my tacoma until going even cheaper with nankang. Put them on the 58 willy's as well. Good in snow as well.
Discount now sells the old hankook tread in their pathfinder tire (same as I ran on the taco)... supposedly still made in the same factory. In my inspection, it seemed the siping wasn't full depth as compared to the hankook so I stayed away as snow use is important for me. I probably should have put them on the 58 to save a few bucks as guessing it'll never see the miles to wear them down.

I agree with Hankook. Run it on my ZJ, brothers WJ and my wife's Ram.

I had the older Hankook ATM on my '99 Wrangler and really liked them for off road. But I'm afraid an AT tire will be too noisy for the main use of the WK2 GC which will be 95+% highway. What about a highway tire with tread features that would be helpful on an easy trail, something like these?

We previously ran Hankook Dynapro ATMs on our Xterra and they were fantastic on and offroad but didn't last too long. We replaced them with Faulken Wildpeaks AT3 https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tir...SABEgJiz_D_BwE and I think they are the best tires I've ever had for snow. They are quiet, have worn very well and do well all around.

Paul... interesting to compare. I got over 50k on the first two sets of hankooks on my tacoma. I haven't driven the new falken wildpeak, but didn't like the previous version as the siping only went halfway down the tread block. For the first 20k all was good, but then the second 20k got sketchy in the snow. The new wildpeak does look better.

I have always liked the Yokohama for more on road with a bit of off road. The more aggressive Geolandar AT G015 is good for a truck, but you might want to look at the the Geolandar HT G056 for even more of a tame tread.

Another vote for Hankooks, I have run them on several trucks with great results.
