Default Co Springs - Eagle Rock - 10 October

Hey there, me and another Jeep are planning on running Eagle Rock, Saturday 10 October.

I was off by a weekend on the planning so I edited this to slide it a week forward.

Thought I'd put it out here and see if anyone had interest in running it with us.

    This got re-scheduled to tomorrow.

If anyone wants to run Eagle Rock with a couple of Jeeps (Oct 10), just holler!

I would like to go on this but this would be my first run with this group and my first run in CO and my first supposedly "difficult" run since making some mods to my XJ. The point is I don't want a super difficult run but I do want something where I can twist it up on some decent obstacles. I just watched the video at the link below and to me it seemed more like a pretty moderate recreational trail for a capable rig and maybe exactly what I'm looking for. I didn't see anything I would consider "difficult". I'm on 35s, full lockers, 60/44, Atlas, full armor and cage, yada yada yada. I just don't want hours of hardcore technical rock crawling or really dangerous stuff for this maiden voyage. Any thoughts about whether this is a good trail for me?

That build sounds like it'll make most of the hard trails around here into pretty easy and boring runs. I am not familiar with this particular trail, though.

There are bypasses for everything except one sort of tippy spot towards the top.
I doubt I even use the lockers.

You can make it as hard or easy as you want really.

We are gonna meet at Dutch Bros on 21st at 09:30 give or take a few.

Anyone is welcome to join, I've seen plenty of stock stuff do this one.

Thanks, that's my hope. I'm much more into exploring these days rather than a full day of rock crawling. So it's just nice to have something where I don't have to turn around because my Jeep isn't capable enough.
