    Default Bachelors Loop

So the wife and I decided to give the Jeep a little test run on 9/11 thru 9/13 since she hasn't been trail ready in awhile. We set out to do Bachelors loop and wheeler Geological Area. We headed out on Friday kinda of a late start its cool there was no rush for the weekend. We arrived in Creede around 3:30ish walked around the town for a little bit since were have never been their. We then decided to run Bachelors loop. We bypassed the stops for 2-5 and took the East Willow Trail, not to bad a couple of steep inclines and some water puddles and a few ruts. Did have some nice views throughout the drive. The East Willow trail comes out between stops 6&7. We then finished up the remainder and went back to the cabin for the night. Had to get a cabin since it had snowed a few days earlier, we had intended on some back country camping but the jeep isn't that comfy and it was a little chilly overnight. We then spent most of Saturday hiking around the Farmers Creek area, Debbie likes her rocks. Then came Sunday We had planned to do Wheeler Geological area, which we have been wanting to do for quite awhile, after getting in and out of the Jeep takin pics it happened........... the drivers door wouldn't latch shut!!!!! Tried many, many, many times to get it to latch closed. tried it gently uh no start getting frustrated and slamming it uh no! so it was decided that this was an omen not to continue on. So driving back into Creede window rolled down left arm hanging out to keep it closed. That was fun let me tell yah. Got to the gas station in creed and bought some paracord which I usually bring with when hiking (forgot to pack sum this time ). Tied the door shut and then we went home. Wheeler Geo it will be alluding us for another day. But still had a fun weekend with the wife!!!!!
