My week..

Well, after having a v6 WK2 since March, dragging our camper to the Atlantic Ocean and back, we decided it was a GREAT vehicle... with a couple of exceptions...

1. It could certainly use some more power dragging the camper around. At the end of a trip, it feels like I do after a run...
2. If we want to go do a trail while camping with the camper, we’re kinda out of luck...

So, we traded it in and got one of these... Trailhawk.. and this things got a Hemi... We took it to Canyon City, Cripple Creek light trails this weekend. Towing was amazing. Trailing was the most comfortable I’ve been. I’m sure there will be some naysayers, and no I’m not getting rid of my JL... but riding around in a WK2 is pretty darn nice..

To not get beat up while trailering - that's a nice improvement.

The tires on it are a bit hard core. Definitely too loud for a WK2. They are 3/4 worn Nitto Terra Grapplers. Man do they hum. Would sound great on a 1997 f250 Diesel but not so much here. We’ll be putting something a little more mild on there. Some nice ATs.. And the wife says the vinyl has to go. It’s her DD so what she says goes...

Did I mention it’s a low rider while highway driving and a monster truck on the trail? Ok neither extreme is exactly accurate but adjustable height is a cool feature.

That's pretty sweet, do you like it as a daily driver? We are kicking around the idea of a new car as my wife's daily driver, and multi-purpose vacation vehicle. Every review I've seen on this vehicle is that other then the off road prowess, they contend there are better vehicles for the money. But I think it would be really nice to if the vehicle is off road capable.

By the way I think it's a great looking vehicle!

We couldn’t find another vehicle that could easily tow our camper and be as good of an all around daily driver as this for the money. We didn’t want 3 rows or to have to go up to a Tahoe sized vehicle.
