Default Kingston/Yankee (Tue July 28) Report

No rain no rain no rain. Weather.com said 80% chance of thunderstorms. No rain.

Jim and his guest, Steven and I met about 10 and headed to Alice and Kingston Peak. At the postbox it was 52 degrees according to my jeep and my guess is 40-50 mph winds. It was cold, but no rain. Headed to Yankee with no issues.
Got back and headed home about 3:15.

    Good to meet you Steven.

    APRS track below.

Tom I believe I saw you an hour ago driving down Hwy 7 into Lyons while I was driving up to come home.

Thanks for leading Tom - I didn't need to turn the map on. It was good to see a stock wrangler out on the trails - of little issue the rocks gave it. Steven - PM me your e-mail and I'll forward originals of your two pix.

Thank you Tom for leading and making it very easy for a first-timer, and thank you Jim for the photos!

I was just laughing at the first picture and my goofy taillight dont worry, got it jerry-rigged before hitting the highway home

That photo of the stock YJ next to Jim's is hilarious! The red YJ is cool, don't get me wrong. Nonetheless, I get the a vibe of "you" and "they guy she tells you not to worry about" from it.

HAHAHA! I swear mine is set back farther in the picture and that's why it looks so small
