    Default Rust removal

Watching some youtube restoration videos gave me the idea to do some electrolysis rust removal. Its easy. Used a converted atx power supply, a bit of scrap iron bar, washing soda and a plastic pail. The example took 1hr 45 min in the bucket. Then a quick wire brush to get off the residue.

I should have done this with the cooking discs I just made, probably would have been a better finished product and a lot less mess.

So I just created a copper acetate solution to do copper plating. Zinc and nickel next.
Sample of my first attempt. Copper quarter.
