Sounds like is likely to be rainy tomorrow. Recommend doors and windows. Weather.com says 80% chance tomorrow at Central City.

Gotcha, thanks for checking. How bad does it have to get before you guys call off a run?

Until no-one else says they're "in".

Participation is up to each individual. Sometimes things change for one person's schedule or in the case of weather, different people say "no thanks" and change their RSVP to "no". If a run gets down to two people and one of them says "no", then the remaining person likely will say - since nobody else is going (that could help me should I get stuck - the buddy system) - they then might change to a "no" and the run does not happen.

I'm hoping this run will happen as I'll have a guest - a first time guest where I scheduled a run (solo) and it didn't happen due to a mechanical (front wheel bearing went south). I'd not like to have two false starts.

From the weather I'm seeing is cool / cold - high of 63 at Central City with a chance of rain in the 6p range. We're heading higher than CCity thus it should be colder - though I believe we'll be off of the mountain before any rain (crossing of fingers).

So far, I'm in / don't have plans to change to no.

I am definitely in. If its really bad at the beginning, thunder and lightning above tree limit, we could always head over to pickle gulch. Its well below tree limit. And we will be right by the trailhead at apex.

Had a pm from Jaycifer and they are out.

Take the Jeep as there is plenty of trails that way. Eagle Rock, Saran Wrap, the Gulches run on Sunday, etc.

Heck, its just typical Colo afternoon thunderstorms. I was hiking last Sat and it rained an thundered the whole time. I didn't even put on my raincoat, though I was quite wet when I got back to the car.

I think I need temps to drop a bit if I'm going to make the Wrangler (temporarily) my daily driver. I'm dying in this thing with no a/c

A run with more YJs than new jeeps - what is the world coming to? That red YJ looks to be in very nice shape - looking forward to seeing it up close on another run soon.
