Hi all! I am originally born and raised in the suburbs of Boston. Grew up round the city and lived in the city for 4 years until 2018. Met a beautiful woman from Colorado, somehow we ended up married. Now somehow I ended in living in Castle Rock with 2 dogs, a house, and 1992 Colorado Red Cherokee Laredo that I literally just finished restoring most of the way on 6/22/20. I owned a Miata for 5 years and then crashed it. I spent 4 months rebuilding the front end and then decided to completely take it apart and sell it. After I finished that project I felt confident to buy an old jeep and I did. I put 3 months of hard work into getting it back into factory spec condition, I even learned how to weld in the process. I am so excited to take the wife and dogs on outings and see the views that normal cars will never get to. I'm looking for easy to moderate off-roading. In fact, this Sunday, 6/28 I will be taking the jeep on a test drive somewhere and could use a buddy for support in case anything happens. After that, I am going up Baldy Rd in Breckenridge for the 4th of July. If anyone wants to tag along for that one too, that would be awesome. Pic is from when I first purchased the jeep. It looked great physically but needed a ton of work for example the rear suspension is shot in this pic.
