China Wall Anniversary Run Day 1
Got to the trailhead right before 10, Scott arrived shortly after. Aired down and got onto the trail. Easy going up the hill and thru the dirt parts up to 204, then things got slow. There were a lot of rigs out there. I was very happy with how a bone stock Gladiator handled this trail. The long wheelbase and departure angle was supposed to wreak on its wheeling ability, I was only stopped on the return going over the big rock, was a bit too far right and hung up. The entire area down by the creek is fenced off for restoration so we walked in to eat our lunch by the creek . After lunch we started heading back. Did I mention there were a LOT of rigs out there. We followed 204 to return and I got myself in a precarious position on the steep downhill. Apparently had a wheel or 2 in the air. Made it through unscathed though. We had intended to return over the hill to the starting point but both of those trails were closed. Denise and I had a great time. Nice meeting you Scott.
