Default Advice Wanted- What is this worth?

I've been shopping popup campers and am pretty sure we're going that way- if anyone is selling one please let me know, my only caveat is that it has to be wide enough to fit my yard, 78" looks perfect.

This is my offroad trailer build thread https://frontrange4x4.com/forums/sho...ffroad-Trailer

What is something like that worth? I'm not trying to get rich, I can only fit one trailer at a time next to my garage and just want to ask a fair price.

    Thanks!

Paul, we should talk about trailers tomorrow. I've been thinking about getting something like what you are selling for a while now.

guys on CL are selling homemade trailers like yours for anywhere from $2500 for the bare bones, rusty ones, to $7000 for the nice built ones. as much as you have into yours and the quality, I'd start at $5000 and see what you can get.

I like that, I do like money and I know overland trailers are going for ridiculous amounts, but being realistic a decent 4x6 utility trailer is about $1000.00, I was thinking of asking $900.00. I'd prefer to trade for a pop up and I'd be willing to throw in some cash to get something good. Expedition: Colorado on Facebook has a for sale thread every Tuesday, I am probably going to post a link to the build thread there and see if anyone wants to trade or buy it.

Does the trailer fit comfortably in a single car spot in a garage? It doesn't look very long (tongue to tail lights), so it looks like it would easily store in a garage.

Paul, don't sell yourself short. if you only want $900 for it, I'll take it! but seriously, you owe it to yourself to put it up for $2500 and see what you get.

    just my 2 cents.

Sure, it's smaller than my Jeep (footprint). I'll get measurements posted.

it's just under 112" x 66", about 52" tall at the crossbars of the rack.

I'm going to put a pin in this for a bit, I went through it yesterday and it's in great shape except for three things I want to get straight first:

The spare tire carrier is flimsy, I did not make a strong enough hinge for it and it really should have two / two arms. I just ordered two of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...t_b_prod_image and am rebuilding that this week.

The rack is a truck bed ladder rack and has four uprights that are correct for ladders, but make it impossible to put a rooftop tent on it. I am cutting those flush with the crossbars so it has a flat top. I'm hoping to just move the plastic caps down, but I may have to weld on a cap, we'll see.

The paint is pretty chipped up from branches, and it's Rustoleum Sunrise Red, which is a close match for Jeep Flame Red and rather specific to me. I'm going to clean it up, degrease and sand it, and repaint it with Hammered Black Rustoleum which is actually a really nice dark grey and should look a lot better.

I'll post it up when it's ready.

Sounds like it'll be pretty awesome when you are done. The ladder rack / roof top tent compatibility is actually something I was concerned about. This trailer seems well suited to throwing a tent on top of sometime.
