Sorry you weren't able to make it today."
It was backed up when the clutch popped on me...I was in the tail end of the slow and go headed north on I-25 from santa fe up to 6th ave exit. I was actually at a stop in the far right lane just after the Alameda entrance ramp where the hectic criss-cross merging of alameda entrance and 6th ave exit ramp are. The 6th ave exit ramp was totally backed-up to a stop, and when the line started to move, I went to shift into 1st to start and it popped the cable....I took that pic about 10-15 mins later while waiting for Jen to get there with my truck and the traffic had completely washed out - which was great for her as she isn't a fan of the clutch in my truck. She can drive it, but stop and go city traffic with the clutch stresses her out, and considering I screwed up her morning to come get me, it was good she wasn't also stressed out or frustrated with driving the truck. Leaving our house to get on I-25 is down hill at the couple traffic lights, which makes it easy for her, but she doesn't like driving back up that hill to the house with the clutch - even though its a relatively new (2010) vehicle, there is no roll back sensor or protection - she usually ends up rolling back some, then over-revs the engine, pops the clutch in a bit of a panic, and chirps the tires. It was all good - glad it was really pretty easy getting it back home...Its going to be out of commission for at least a week waiting on parts.
