    Default Budget M/T tires

Unfortunately I had to get rid of my Rzr in the beginning of the year. So now I'm working on getting my old Exploder up and driving again.
My problem is looking for tires. I'm planning on going with 285/75/16.

What does everyone use for budget M/T tires? Dont really car about noise and daily driving as this is mainly going to be used for trails only.

I run Kenda Klever M/T. Came in at 140ish/ tire for 31s. I have 8k on them now, daily driven and has 14/32 of 17/32 new. No uneven wear, airs down well and doesn’t totally suck in the snow. Balanced easy too, with little weight. Try milestar Patagonia mt as well if you can’t find the klever in your size. I highly recommend either of these tires!

I'd also recommend looking at the Patagonia MTs. I've seen them firsthand in action and they work great. A little softer than some tires, but if wear isn't a major priority then no biggie. They aren't quite as cheap s they were a couple years ago now that more peeps are using them, but in your size still not too crazy.

eBay has a TON of cheap MTs in that size. like, $500-600 set. all kinds and shapes and sizes. some are mocks of current tires (Atturo Trail Blades look like Toyos, Kanati Trail Hogs are Duratracs, etc) and some are their own thing. but they're all cheap.

I have not tried any of the off-brands this site sells, but found these prices to be very tempting:

The nankang tires here might be good for an explorer being a D load range. A lot of that size is E, and I found that to be a little stiff for my Xterra.

I have ordered some tires from this site back in 2015. The transaction went well.

I'd look into Nankang and the Mud Claw...I am actually looking into putting some Nankang ATs on my DD tacoma.
