"The route I really really want to do for a long time is Lockhart Basin (40-ish desolate miles), a long route that I believe can be done in one long day or two days with a night of camping. I know Trent did this last year and wasn't interested in doing it again.... I think it's moderate and the first few miles are supposed to be the most difficult. I'd really like to take my Powerwagon and do this.... I'm getting 37" BFG KM3's put on any day now and it should be easily capable of this route even stock."
`Was along with Trent. Lockhart Basin - not interested again (too long of the same, same, same - though I am glad I did it - so if you wish to - then get it done). Lockhart Canyon - that was a hoot / would do that again.
This rock set was perhaps the only obstacle I recall for the trek: (EDIT: The perspective is quite different from Derek's photo, above, but it's the same obstacle)
