Nice! I was amazed by capability of Shane’s rig when we wheeled a few times earlier in the winter. He was able to go anywhere I went and I did not think that was going to happen but I watched in amazement as he crawled thru anything.
He even popped a tire bead and did the old starter fluid bomb to re-seat it successfully! Those Land Rovers sure do well off road

I find it humorous that the 'old' is a 2006 LR3....not that I am biased or anything . I was hoping for something more like a classic series 70 or 90 LR.

You should get a kick out of the rebuild of the Series 1 in the link below then:

Here is a build of a series I from a jeep acquaintance of mine...not a restoration but a cool build none-the-less.

I got jealous and turned mine into a plugin hybrid with batteries in the back too. I can go 12 miles on just a fully charged set of batteries, the solar panel, and a gallon of gas

I'll keep my Range Rover Classic. Now with my new job and being busy 6 days a week I need to find trail time. SIGH

That's pretty much it besides the panel. I have enough power to run my tiny dual zone fridge/freezer, cpap machine because apparently I can't breath at night at this altitude, and enough watts coming from the inverter to charge my electric dirt bike when I'm camping without starting up my generator. To make room I pulled out the third row seats which I was never going to use, and created a false floor and wrapped it in trunk felt so it would look oem. The two 100ah AGM batteries are charged by a DC/DC charger that can do 50 amps at 12v, will pull from alternator or solar, and if I'm parked in the sun and the house batteries are full it will trickle charge my starter battery from the solar cell.

Oh, panel is only 100 watts, if I like it I have room to add a couple more but I run my rig enough that I think the alternator will do most of the charging and the panel will mostly just trickle charge things.

Oh yeah, and I put the scissor jack under the false floor to have a place to store it as I use them once in a while, but rarely, and modded the scissor jack storage location to hold an F350 bottle jack since they are nice and tall. I didn't want to cut anything that could rust or would be expensive to replace but I did cut a couple of holes in a $15 plastic panel to hold my bluetooth battery monitor and inverter on/off switch. Above the jack in the center is the shunt for measuring power in/out/remaining and I can put that on my phone which is fun. I have a crimper so I just crimped all of the cables to length so everything is a nice fit. If anyone is able to rotate the photos I would appreciate it, I actually took the first couple of pictures above with my camera held sideways so they would show as upright in this forum

Let me know if you have any other questions Jim, I can go take more detailed pictures of anything. No, really, I have nothing else to do. I'm so bored.
