Wet and very heavy. My snowblower had a pretty hard time. I was able to make a path out if I need to go anywhere.

    A few things for thought:
    1) Wanted to revisit the topic of trailhead meeting time for the run. We have 10 'yes' so far...so I don't love changing things up on them, but there is some sense to delaying the trailhead meet time to 10am for our members driving down from northern front range area...just wanted to get some input on that from all of you....
2)With 10 people already signed up, we will probably want to consider breaking up into some smaller groups, both for trail etiquette and for health concerns. Different groups can head to different trails depending on interest...
3)Also, I think there is some possibility that the state/governor will order a shelter in place type restriction before then...its up to individuals how they choose to respond to that, but just something to keep in mind.

10 am would be good but I could probably make it earlier if needed

I think breaking into smaller groups would be good. I would prefer not to run Hackett since I have a few times already.

I don’t really care if the governor issues a shelter in place

Just tried to renew my OHV sticker- you do need one for this run- and the system is not working, but I'm sure they're on it. There is a link to email them your info on this page: https://cpw.state.co.us/buyapply/Pag...ationsOHV.aspx

What about breaking into another group on Thursday or Friday instead?

I changed the meet time to 10am at the Metberry trailhead....There looks to be a group coming from north meeting in Sedalia at 8:15am with 8:30 departure....

RE OHV Sticker. Last time I found it easy to stop into the local sporting goods store. In/out - 4 minutes.

    Food for thought folks.
This is coming from former military whom lives nextdoor.

She has recived communication indicating the national Guard is in route to all states.
Once in place a national shelter in place order could come.
This could happen as soon as monday.
Depending upon the orders we may not be able to get out for this run.

I do how ever hope we will be able to.
I have 2 additional jeeps for the run.
Splitting up is a good idea.

    Will be watching.
As well share information as its available.

I consider this a rumor. My son had heard from a nurse on the front lines that Polis was going to issue a stay in place order on last Friday and that didn’t happen.

Hearing the same things. Placards being given out to first responders, communication workers, etc. that are considered essential workers. They would be allowed out and about.

I hear unfounded rumors about #NationalGuard troops supporting a nationwide quarantine. Let me be clear: There has been no such discussion. ... For news about the great work the Guard IS doing to support the #Covid_19 response, click the link. #COVID19https://nationalguard.mil/coronavirus/

Although I encourage everyone to get an OHV permit/registration, it is not required for these roads.

My apologies, I looked on an ATV page and saw that it was required. Looks like the roads there just require a regular plate http://staythetrail.clubexpress.com/...dule_id=234677

This link lists all the full size 4x4 trails that require a state ohv pass.

I didn’t know Jenny Creek required one.

    Enjoy, good luck.

As for splitting up: I've only ever done Metberry in and out, no offshoots. I have decent recovery gear but no winch, so I'm down for splitting into smaller groups but would like to have some vehicles with winches in my subgroup. Right now my manual winch is the hi-lift and that thing is emergencies only
