Is this the start of the Kokopelli trail? I'm in that area next week and am not familiar with this way of getting into Rabbit Valley. Anyone done this? Thanks!

yes - the eastern terminus for 4x4s is now rabbit valley...I've driven it for quite a few miles in past the utah state line. Lots of good mt biking back there...
Technically, the eastern terminus is Loma/Mack, CO, but its only MTB access between Loma and Rabbit Valley.
