Considering Moab trip in early/mid October this fall. The idea we're kicking around is to arrive evening of Oct 9, wheel on 10, 11 and 12, and then return home on Oct 13. Anyone interested in wheeling out there on these dates this year?

Interested.
Dates marked off. Temps when time nears could be my make/break.
October should be pretty nice temperatures there? Haven't been there in October before, but I would expect 50-90f range. Does that sound right?

Could still be pretty warm but should be nice temps...especially for camping.

It appears there is a 240 mile ultra race in Moab during these dates. I am not yet sure how that affects trail access, but it may impact lodging options. http://www.moab200.com/
For us, this trip is happening. I'll try to get it on the calendar this week. Hopefully we can find some company for the trails.
Any suggestions? I've never run Fins, so that is top of my list this trip.
I would definitely run fins again...I ran out if time and missed the last 1/3 a few years ago. Hells is completely doable with the bypasses around the 3 big ones. I am looking to run all of golden spike next trip out. I thought poison spider was excellent last fall with Jim and Brian.

Would like to go but your school district fall break is a week off from mine apparently.
I'm in.
In for Fins, it's one of the most fun trails I've ever done. I'm planning on going in / out of Moab from Gateway, probably that Wed via John Brown to Sand Flats going and Onion Creek back to John Brown leaving:

I'm a definite maybe.
Looking at these dates - jeffco's fall break isn't until 10/25-28, but I think I could make this work. I could probably arrive after work on Thurs 10/10, wheel all day Fri & Sat, and open to doing some wheeling on Sun morning before driving home (last year we did top of the world before heading home). I will put it tentatively on my calendar...
