    Default Chinamans Planning

Thinking about a Chinaman's run in a couple weeks. I would prefer to run this trail during the week to avoid some of the crowds, although that is not an absolute. Looking at 5/29 or 5/30....any interest?

Ran it last year on a weekday and we had the trail to ourselves. The trail is just hard enough that its nice when you need some extra time at an obstacle you don't feel like you are blocking everyone.

I could possibly do the 29th depending on my work schedule but then I go out of town on the 30th. This trail is definitely on the list so if I don’t make this one I’ll try later in the season. I like the week day idea though.

I like your thinking. The 29th is my first day if summer break. Is the xj under construction? It would do well on this run.

Yeah, Xj is getting a face lift (suspenion up-grades, t-case /sye, mid-frame stifners) while it's down. Hoping to have it back together by the time the high country opens up.

I am hoping my wife will be up for camping at the anniversary get together, I want to just come down to hang out with the campers and then access the hiking trails north of China Wall for fathers day. 😊

How much interest do we have? Feel like its mostly a bunch of maybes? We are a little over a week out...I could go ahead and post it on calendar and see what happens....I am happy to run it with a group of 2 or more.

As of right now, I'm out, though I hope to be on the road in time (edit - hoping this week, if it gets welded this week - install is quick once I have it).

Transmission / Belly Pan mount. I'll take it to a welding shop tomorrow and see what they say.

As much as I would like to run this trail. I think it’s going to have to wait. The only day I could squeeze it in would be Monday morning (memorial day). If I get some wiring done in time.

yup...give it a bit more time and see what happens....I would consider a run in the Miller Rock, Ironclads etc area if that would draw a bit more interest.
