Animated GIF's
GIF is one image format that has the ability to "flip through" stacked pictures. Remember writing (for me) stick figures on notebook edges (when the teacher wasn't overly interesting) that you could flip through the notebook pages to "play the movie". Animated GIF's are mostly the same thing.
I planned to make a gif out of a set of photos when I took the photos (read - don't move the camera much from shot to shot).
Several programs exist (I'd assume) to make an animated GIF but I use Animation Shop v1.03 by Jasc Software (c1991-1999). Older than dirt software that still runs and does what I ask of it.
Essentially, I open the set of photos in Animation Shop, set a delay for it to use, photo to photo (which can be individually changed if needed) and save as an animated GIF. Done.
