It's yours. I have it registered at Hover.com. We can tend a transfer to whatever registrar you wish. There might be a 30 day hold on it (as it was just registered). You'd likely not enact any change until ownership of the lodge is official.
You can, I believe, have the domain name point to the wordpress account. That way you'd be able to use the domain name (highly recommended) but still have the WordPress.com services (which I believe to be safer than using a WordPress site at a third-party web host). WordPress plug-ins seem to get hacked too frequently.
Also recommended, would be to start using e-mail addresses tied with the domain name - for a professional appearance to customers. I shake my head at "companies" that display a nice
www.domainname.com address and then list
president@gmail.com e-mail address.
